ITINERARY

Day 1 – Bangkok

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 – Bangkok/Kanchanaburi

Enjoy a guided bike ride around Bangkok before travelling by private van to Kanchanaburi.

Day 3 – Kanchanaburi

Explore Kanchanaburi on a cycling tour and enjoy the unique experience of spending the night on a floating rafthouse. Visit Erawan National Park and hike the many tiers of the famous waterfall and swim in the crystal-blue pools.

Day 4 – Kanchanaburi/Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

Afternoon transfer to Ayutthaya.

Day 5 – Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya/Chiang Mai

Enjoy an included cycling tour of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight train to Chiang Mai.

Day 6 – Chiang Mai/Pha Lho

Arrive in Chiang Mai in the morning before beginning the hilltribe trek. Experience the culture of northern Thailand with a homestay.

Meals included: Lunch | Dinner

 

Day 7 – Pha Lho/Ban Mae Ma

Pack up and set off for the next village. The trek is longer today, the trail winds up and down on the way to a picnic lunch in the jungle. Afterwards, transfer to the Lahu village of Ban Mae Ma for an overnight stay. Opt to experience a traditional herbal sauna.

Day 8 – Ban Mae Ma/Chiang Mai

After breakfast in the village, trek until reaching the end of the trail, passing rice fields and fruit plantations along the way. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring back to Chiang Mai. Opt to take a dip in a local hot spring.

Day 9 – Chiang Mai/Ao Nang

Explore Chiang Mai in the morning before flying south to Krabi then transfer to Ao Nang.

Day 10 – Ao Nang

Enjoy the white sandy beaches and coral bays of the Andaman Sea. Enjoy a sea kayaking excursion. In the evening, return to the hotel and relax for the night.

Day 11 – Ao Nang/Andaman Sea

Continue to discover the beauty of the Andaman Sea, kayaking through mangrove jungle. In the evening, relax under the stars at camp. Opt to swim or relax on the beach.

Day 12 – Andaman Sea

Take off for the open seas today, with a tougher day in the sea kayaks. After kayaking to La Ding Island, head for calmer waters in the lagoon near Hong Island. Return to camp in the evening for another night under the stars.

Day 13 – Andaman Sea/Bangkok

Return to Ao Nang via longtail boat. Freshen up and relax before boarding an overnight train to Bangkok.

Day 14 – Bangkok

Trip ends on arrival at Bangkok train station.
